Georgian dance is a big part of Georgian culture. There are number of purposes Georgian people performed a dance. We put our hearts and souls in the dance to express our temperament, mentality, main intentions, and our main purpose of life. Fierce and brave character of a man as well as graciosity and tenderness of a woman is expressed through our dances. With every precise motion, we tell our history, open our heart to you to bring you the wild Georgian energy and share part of our spirit. Kartuli (Georgian) National Georgian dance The dance performed by a couple is a fascinating story of love between a woman and a man, this dance was commonly performed at the throne. The dancers are perceived as the king and the queen and the dance itself expresses the brightness and joy of their eternal love and loyalty.

Partsa National Georgian dance This antique dance that was highly evaluated by the famous Greek philosopher, Strabo; has its roots in the part of Georgia called Guria. It’s dynamic choreography is full of fast and beautiful movements, the circle built up by the dancers causes the exclamation and the feeling of festivity in viewers. .
Acharuli National Georgian dance This captivating dance comes from the region called Achara, the magnificent region at the Black Sea; it is performed usually by a couple of a boy and a girl but may also be performed by a group. Switching the slow movements with the fast ones is harmoniously combined with the alluring beauty and graciosity of a woman.

Narnari National Georgian dance It’s harmonious, tender dance of princesses or angles which is performed only by girls mostly at the throne. .
Samaya National Georgian dance It’s the dance of three queens, blessing the motherland and the warriors on the way to war. This dance expresses the union of our religion, throne and the warriors for the main blessed purpose, protecting the countryFaculties have a broad challenge area”.
Simdi (Osuri) National Georgian dance Rooted in Oseti, the central-northern part of Georgia this dance captures our attention with the charming, precise and tender motions of both girls and boys and leaves us enthralled with the delightful ,compelling precision of straight lines and delicate drifting-like motions on the stage.
Farikaoba National Georgian dance It’s a Georgian mountainous dance the ideas of which are both of the following: first, it represents the skills that men had to acquire for upcoming wars, it was like a fighting practice where warriors mastered sword fighting. But more importantly the vigorous dance shows us the important role of a woman in the society. Men are fighting against each other competing to defeat the opponent to win over the desired girl’s heart. Man should be fearless and protectors to be chosen. Simultaneously, when a girl sees their fight she brings peace between opponents with her white bandana. An honorable man will not continue fighting after seeing the bandana due to the respect of a woman.
Kazbeguri National Georgian dance It’s a dance performed by men from mountains , representing their steady, firm and and fierce character, which is in harmony with the tough nature and environment, willing to unthinkably sacrifice themselves to protect their homeland.
Svanuri National Georgian dance It’s the dance rooted in high mountainous region called Svaneti , performed only by men, showing the strength, bravery, courage and fearless nature, while honoring their idol and appreciating the bountifulness of the sun
