Tbilisi State Medical University Theatre Hygia performed on the main stage of the Shota Rustaveli National Theatre for the third time. This time, Hygia offered the audience the play “Khanuma” based on the famous comedy play by Avksenti Tsagareli.

The adapted stage version of Khanuma was created by Associate Professor Natia Gujabidze, founder of Hygia and director of the play. The TSMU students participated in the performance and although they are amateur actors, they delivered their roles with remarkable skill and professionalism.

Hygia previously performed The Little Prince and Auschwitz on the stage of the Rustaveli National Theatre in 2021 and 2024.
