Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University visited TSMU students participating in the Anaklia Youth Camp. The Rector was accompanied by Zviad Gabisonia, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

Professor Natroshvili and TSMU students toured the camp’s infrastructure and became acquainted with its operational activities on site.

During an interactive meeting, the TSMU rector and the deputy minister spoke about ongoing and planned projects at the Medical University. They also introduced students to initiatives designed to support the implementation of youth-led projects. The discussion further addressed topics such as the application of artificial intelligence in education, prospects for the development of research institutes and the promotion of professions that are in high demand within the medical field.

Professor Irakli Natroshvili awarded the winning teams of the basketball tournament held at the camp. 240 TSMU students participated in the Anaklia Youth Camp, spending four days there from 14 to 18 August.
