On March 22, 2021 Professor Rudolf Korinthenberg, Emeritus of the University of Freiburg conducted online lecture - “Neonatal Neurological Disorders” for the TSMU International Faculty of Medicine and Stomatology students at the G. Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic. The lecture was organized within the framework of a partnership memoranda between TSMU and the German Society of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (DGKJ), signed in 2019 (Berlin).  

The German Society of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (DGKJ) is a professional society uniting more than 17 000 specialists. The association was established by the German government. It develops joint project with TSMU and G. Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic from 2020. The aim of the project is to share German experience to Georgian doctors, students and medical staff and reinforce development of the pediatric academic clinic. The project includes German professors’ visit at the TSMU G. Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic, who will be involved in teaching process and clinical activities.
