Please note that measles is one of the most contagious diseases - over 90% of individuals having no immunity catch infection after having a contact with diseased person. Measurement of measles virus is transmitted via airway. Traditionally, measles are considered a child's disease, but it is possible to infect people of any age if there is no immunity due to infection or post-mortem infections. Unfortunatelly, there is still an increase in measles cases in Georgia. Vaccination is essential!
