On May 10, a meeting was held at Tbilisi State Medical University to discuss issues related to the preparation of expert conclusions on medical activities. The meeting was led by Prof. Zurab Orjonikidze, TSMU Chancellor and attended by Prof. Khatuna Todadze, TSMU Vice Rector, Prof. Zaza Bokhua, First Deputy Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Paata Bukia, Deputy Head of State Regulation Agency for Medical Activities, Archil Morchiladze, Executive Secretary of Medical Association, representatives from clinics and medical experts. The goal of the meeting was to set standards how to protect the interest of patients and write the medical review objectively. The decisions make influence on the authority of doctors and medical experts. The meeting was finalized with exchanging decisions about further co-operation activities.
