On June 1, 2018, Ivane Tarkhnishvili Student Scientific Society of TSMU conducted traditional "80th scientific research conference - studies in clinical medicine".

At the conference there were presented winners of the qualifying event. Georgian and foreign students and residents of Tbilisi State Medical University, as well as Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Caucasus International University and Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University participated in the conference. The 9th edition was presented at the conference in Georgian and English languages. 

Student's works were evaluated by the jury members: Giorgi Attiia, president of TSMU Scientific Society, Doctor Cardiologist Giorgi Pochkhua, Head of Department of Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry of TSMU Tamar Chikviladze and TSMU invited teacher Londa Rukhadze. According to their assessment, 3 winners of the original research have been identified, the authors of which were awarded with the relevant certificates: Keso Nachkebia, Mariam Chkhikvadze, Mariam Watsabashvili; Mariam Chabrava, Elene Nemsadze; Lalika Esebua.

The Ivane Tarkhnishvili Students' Scientific Society thanks the administration of Tbilisi State Medical University, student self-government, invited jury members, faculty of TSMU pharmacy and his dean professor Dali Berashvili, participants and attendees.
