TSMU at the International Education Fair

On February 28 and 29, 2020 Tbilisi State Medical University participated in the International Education Fair organized at Expo Georgia. The guests of the education fair had opportunity to get acquainted with Georgian and International,  one-cycle, bachelor and master programmes offered by Tbilisi State medical University. The visitors of TSMU area received comprehensive information about the study process, student life, career development opportunities and other important issues of the university.

The guests had opportunities to carry out practical work and manipulations including first aid, stop bleeding, injection and other practical activities at the TSMU Clinical Skills and Multidisciplinary Simulation Centre and Apolon Urushadze Dental Clinic area. 

TSMU Student Self-Government provided interactive games for school children including issues on natural sciences and questions related to the university. The winners were awarded with memorable gifts.

In frames of public lectures, lecturers from various universities discussed different professions and careers. Professor Kakhaber Chelidze, Head of the Department of Therapy and Cardiology of TSMU First University Clinic, delivered lecture about doctor’s career, advantages and disadvantages, problems or difficulties doctors are facing on their professional pathway.
