On February 24, 2025, a graduation ceremony was held at Tbilisi State Medical University. 388 students graduated from five faculties of TSMU: Medicine, Stomatology, Pharmacy, Public Health, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Nursing and Midwifery.  The highest-ranking students from each faculty and program were symbolically dressed by the deans and representatives of the university administration. At the end of the event, the graduates solemnly took the oath.

The deans extended their congratulations to the graduates on the successful completion of their studies. Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of TSMU also congratulated the graduates on this significant milestone and wished them professional success in their future careers.

“You have mastered a profession that is one of the most humane and does not only involve professional activity. This is a calling to serve people, to protect the most precious and tender things for them – health and life. As your educator and senior colleague, I would like to offer you some advice. Medicine is a constantly evolving field; never be content with the knowledge you have acquired. Always remain open to learning new information and skills, as continuous professional development is the key to success. Listen attentively to your patients. Every case, even those that may seem insignificant at first glance, could be of utmost importance to the patient. In such moments, they feel your support and care. Similarly, listen to your colleagues. Never hesitate to seek their advice. Remember, a decision made through consultation is often the most well-founded one. I want you to carry the name of a graduate of Tbilisi State Medical University with great pride, as it symbolizes not only a profession but also a profound responsibility” said the Rector of TSMU.
