თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო უნივერსიტეტში სტაჟირებაზე ვენის სამედიცინო უნივერსიტეტის სტუდენტები იმყოფებოდნენ

Students of Medical University of Vienna underwent internship at Tbilisi State Medical University

From October 3 to December 24, 2022 within the framework of exchange program students of the Medical University of Vienna (Austria) Grishka Christian Jenis Heimrath and Tamina Lola Koren underwent internship at Tbilisi State Medical University. Grishka Christian Jenis Heimrath underwent internship in the Departments of Eye Diseases, Otorhinolaryngology, Propedeutics and Topical Diagnosis of Neurological Diseases and Obstetrics and Gynecology. 


“It is important to communicate with as many patients as possible. I will be a doctor in two years and I want to obtain as much experience as possible. It is interesting to find out different treatment methods. Moreover, Georgia is a very beautiful and hospitable country” said the Austrian student.

The second Austrian student, Tamina Lola Koren underwent internship in the TSMU Departments of Pediatrics N2, Propedeutics and Topical diagnosis of Neurological Diseases and Anesthesiology and Reanimatology.


“Internship at Tbilisi State Medical university is an interesting experience. I attended different manipulations, surgeries and clinical cases in various departments. One of the most exciting experiences was assisting the anesthesiologist. As far as I am going to become an anesthesiologist, it was one of the most important experiences for me” said Tamina Lola Koren.

The students were under the supervision of Associate Professor Nino Karanadze Head of the Department of Eye Diseases, Professor Nato Nakudashvili Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Professor Maia Beridze Head of the Department of Propedeutics and Topical Diagnosis of Neurological Diseases, Professor Nikoloz-Nukri Kintraia Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Professor Levan Ratiani Director of the First University Clinic and Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology
