From February 12 to February 25, 2023 within the framework of ERASMUS+ credit mobility, TSMU Public Health Faculty professors visited partner universities in Slovenia and Germany. Prof. Shalva Zarnadze and Assoc. Prof. Irine Zarnadze delivered lectures about food science, population health risk factors and indicators at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. The TSMU professors also met Prof. Alexander Sirotkin and discussed mobility cases of doctoral students. 

From February 21, Professors of the Public Health Faculty of TSMU Levan Baramidze, Shalva Zarnadze, Assoc. Professors Devi Tabidze, Zurab Sikharulidze, Irine Zarnadze and Invited teacher Lia Gumbaridze met Prof. Walter Bruchhausen Head of Global Health Department of the Institute of Hygiene and Public Health and Prof. Bernd Weber Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bonn (Germany). The German professors introduced the guests to the history of the University of Bonn and discussed issues related to collaborative research with the Tbilisi State Medical University. During the meeting, visits of TSMU academic staff and master students were also discussed at the University of Bonn. The guests also met Prof. Wolfgang Holzgreve Medical Director of University Hospital Bonn and listened to the presentation about the scientistic activities and current achievements of the university clinics. On February 24, a working meeting was held with Prof. Peter J. Weber Dean of the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences and Prof. Philip Walther the Deputy Dean of the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences. The aim of the meeting was to expand cooperation between partner universities and strengthen internationalization and scientific activities at TSMU.
