Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by
Professor Agata Filipi, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty
Coordinator for Academic Exchange of Students and Academic Staff; Professor
Aleksandra Szopa, Vice-Dean of the Doctoral School and Associate Professor of
Clinical Pharmacy; Ewa Gladysz, Head of the Dean’s Office at the Faculty of
Dentistry; Magdalena Staszkiewicz, Head of the Department of Innovative
Education at the Medical University of Lublin. The TSMU leadership met the
guests. The Polish delegation delivered presentations that provided a
comprehensive overview of their university’s mission, core values, academic and
clinical structure, faculties, hospital infrastructure, doctoral school and
academic programs.
Both parties discussed the prospects for expanding
collaboration through the Erasmus+ program as well as within the framework of
bilateral institutional partnerships. Specific areas of interest included joint
research projects, enhanced student and academic staff mobility and deepening
engagement in internationalization processes.
Tbilisi State Medical University and the Medical
University of Lublin have built a strong, long-standing partnership, reinforced
by the successful implementation of numerous joint projects.
