The Fourth International Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Conference “Geoanesthesia”

On September 27-29, 2019 TSMU delegation: Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, TSMU Rector, Prof. Tinatin Chikovani, Dean of Medicine Faculty, Assoc. Prof. David Topuria, Head of the Department of Overseas Students Education, Prof. Levan Ratiani, Head of the TSMU First University Clinic and Assoc. Prof. Lia Dzidziguri, Director of G. Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic participated in the Fourth International Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Conference “Geoanesthesia”. The conference was organized by Government of Adjara and coordinated by the Doctor of Medical Sciences, Ilia Nakashidze, the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament and President of Georgian Society of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Tbilisi State Medical University, School of Anaesthesiology and Reanimatology and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University were co-organizers of the conference. Zaza Bokhua, the Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Tornike Rijvadze, the Chairman of Government of Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Ilia Nakashidze, the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament, Nino Nizharadze, the First Deputy Minister of Health of Adjara and Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU addressed the audience. Prof. Tinatin Chikovani presented report. TSMU students, residents and doctors attended the conference. Professor Leonard Azamfirei, Rector of the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Târgu  Mureş,  (Romania) was one of the key note speakers at the conference. Prof. Leonard Azamfirei was invited guest at Tbilisi State Medical University and attended the Solemn Ceremony dedicated to the beginning of the New 2019-2020 Academic Year. 

Individual sessions for nurses, modules for residents and doctors were held within the framework of the conference. International colleagues conducted workshops.
