On November 28-30, 2019 TSMU Medicine Faculty students Levan Tsaguria and Mariam Qalebashvili participated in the “6th Lublin International Medical Congress for Students and Young Doctors”, organized by the Medical University of Lublin. More than 250 representatives from various countries presented their researches. The reports were divided into following sessions: 

• Pathomorphology and Forensic Medicine;

• Radiology and Nuclear Medicine;

• General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation;

• Basic Sciences and Experimental Medicine;

• Psychiatry, Psychology and Human science in Medicine,

• Neurology and Neurosurgery;

• Public Health and Reproductive Health;

• Head and Neck Diseases, Dentistry;

• Internal medicine, Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine;

• Paediatrics and Neonatology.

The TSMU students presented research paper: “Similarity and difference in tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes in original tumour tissues and those of in vitro expanded populations in Glioblastoma” The research was conducted under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Alexander Tavartkiladze, TSMU Oncology Department. Following students worked on the research:

The Georgian students participated in the workshop.  President of Ivane Tarkhnishvili Student Scientific Society, Levan Tsaguria and President of Student's Scientific Society of the Medical University of Lublin, Cezar Sienko signed memoranda of partnership.
