On October 7, 2021 event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Poltava State Medical University was organized in Poltava Academic Regional Ukrainian Musical and Drama Theater (Ukraine). The ceremony was attended by the representatives from various countries (Lithuania, Moldova, Spain and etc.).

TSMU Vice Rector, Professor Sophia Bakhtadze attended the ceremony. TSMU Professor talked about friendship between Ukrainian and Georgian people and especially highlighted cooperation between the Tbilisi State Medical University and Poltava State Medical University. 

Poltava State Medical University Rector, Professor Vyacheslav Jdan especially thanked to the Professor Sophia Bakhtadze for participating in the event and hoped to broaden cooperation between the TSMU and Poltava State Medical University.
