TSMU Hosted the 10th Anniversary of the Affiliated Clinic

On June 14, Tbilisi State Medical University hosted the 10th Anniversary of the Georgia Israel Joint Clinic “Gidmedi”. The event was attended by the executive and legislative authorities, leaders and staff of the Clinic, TSMU representatives and partners from Israel. Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, the Rector of TSMU granted a Certificate of Gratitude to the Clinic. Zaza Bokhua, the First Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Lado Kakhadze, the Member of Parliament of Georgia, Jamlet khukhashvili, an Honorable Citizen of Tbilisi, invited guests from Israel and leaders of the Clinic greeted the audience. 

Clinic “Gidmedi” was established ten years ago, by the Associated Professor Givi Chikobava, TSMU Professor, Davit Kotchiashvili and the Chief Surgeon of the “Kaplan Medical Centre” Reuben Elligier. More than 8000 operations have been completed at the Clinic. The Joint Clinic is a Multiprofile Medical Institution oriented on innovative outpatient and inpatient services.
