Within the framework of the Erasmus+ grant project — “Promoting High-Quality Digital Education in Georgia” (PRODIGE) on June 15-20, representatives of Tbilisi State Medical University paid a working visit to the Georgian Maritime Academy (Batumi). The event brought together members of the project consortium from both Georgia and various European countries.
Professor Maia Okujava, Head of the Department of Medical Pharmacology and Head of the Faculty of Quality Assurance Office of Medicine, Vakhtang Beroshvili, Deputy Head of the Economic Department, Associate Professor Nino Kiladze, Department of Hygiene, Medical Ecology and Health Promotion, and Senior Specialist of the Quality Assurance Office attended training sessions focused on current trends, challenges, and achievements in distance education. The sessions were conducted by representatives of Tallinn University of Technology.
During the seminars, participants had the opportunity to present their own pedagogical experiences related to distance learning through short presentations. The training cycle concluded successfully on June 18. On June 19, a project management meeting was held to discuss dissemination strategies, upcoming activities and the schedule of future meetings.
