New prospects for collaboration between TSMU and Nicolaus Copernicus University

Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program, Associate Professor Tamaz Chumburidze, Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy of Tbilisi State Medical University visited Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland. The primary objective of the visit was to strengthen bilateral academic cooperation and foster the development of joint educational and research initiatives.

Professor Tamaz Chumburidze held meetings with Agata Świątly-Błaszkiewicz, ERASMUS+ Program Coordinator and Professor Artur Słósarz, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The discussions focused particularly on the planning of joint research projects, including collaborative work in the field of pharmaceutical research. The parties also exchanged experience in organizing and delivering master's level educational programs and expressed mutual interest in participating in bilateral academic exchange initiatives.

As part of the visit, Associate Professor Tamaz Chumburidze delivered a series of lectures dedicated to the application of specialized algorithms in pharmaceutical care, specifically in the management of allergies and varicose vein diseases. The lectures were attended by students, doctoral candidates, and academic staff from the Faculties of Pharmacy and Medicine at Nicolaus Copernicus University.
