On May 26-31, 2019 Tbilisi State Medical University was presented at the Exhibition-conference National Association of International Educators (NAFSA) in Washington (USA). Nearly 2000 representatives from 80 international countries participated in the exhibition. In frames of the Program of Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - “Study in Georgia” 5 Georgian State Universities presented our country at the exhibition. 

Prof. Davit Topuria, the Dean of TSMU International Faculty of Medicine noted: “TSMU presented educational programs to the audience. Several European universities showed their interests to collaborate with TSMU and especially Nursing Bachelor's and Professional Programmes were in the scope of their interests. Students’ outsourcing process from Asian countries seems a new challenge for TSMU either”. Meeting between Georgian delegation and the representatives of Association of International Education Administrations (AIEA) was dedicated to the students’ international employment possibilities.  

Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia will work on the issue – Georgia is supposed to become a member of the Association and later, as the consequence Georgian students’ international employment opportunities will become possible.
