Professor Tinatin Chikovani, Head of the Department of Immunology of Tbilisi State Medical University, participated in the XXXVII National Congress organized by the Italian Society of Allergology, Asthma and Clinical Immunology (SIAAIC) — “SIAAIC Meets the World Allergy Organization (WAO)”.  The event was held in Milan, Italy, on October 3–5.

Professor Chikovani delivered a presentation on “Cancer Ablation: The In Situ Vaccination Approach.” She also took part in the Executive Committee and Board of Directors meetings of the World Allergy Organization. Throughout the congress, Professor Tinatin Chikovani served as Chair of the symposium “Challenges in Drug Allergy.”

On October 5, discussions were held with the WAO leadership regarding the organization of the 15th Congress of the Georgian Association of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, scheduled to take place on May 4–6, 2026 in Tbilisi, at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel and Tbilisi State Medical University.
