XX Multi-Profile Medical Conference International Standards of Clinical Practice

On February 6-18, 2020 XX Multi-Profile Medical Conference “International Standards of Clinical Practice” was held in Bakuriani (Georgia), organized by Association of Medical Education and Evidence-Based Medicine. Two accredited profile conferences were held within the framework of the joint conference: “Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacological Aspects of Internal Diseases Management” and “Health, Quality of Life and Aesthetic Medicine”. 

TSMU academic staff was actively involved in the conference. Professor Alexander (David) Telia, Head of TSMU Allergology and Clinical Immunology Department presented report "Allergic Diseases in Elder Population", Associate Professor of the TSMU Allergology and Clinical Immunology Department, Ketevan Matchavariani made a presentation about: “Urticarial Vasculitis - Clinical Cases”. Professor Maia Beridze, Head of Neurological Department of the First University Clinic talked about innovative methods in stroke treatment and Associate Professor Irine Khatiashvili, TSMU Clinical Neurology Department presented report “Chronicle Neuropathy and Treatments” at the Neurology and Neuropharmacology Session.

Associate Professor Nona Kakuridze, TSMU N2 Internal Disease Department, Doctor of Medicine, Manana Esaiashvili, TSMU Vladimir Bakhutashvili Institute of Medical Biotechnology,  Doctor of Medicine, Boris Korsantia, TSMU Vladimir Bakhutashvili Institute of Medical Biotechnology, Professor Aliosha Bakuradze, TSMU Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Professor Tamaz Chumburidze, TSMU Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy participated in the conference and presented their reports on various sessions. 

Professor Tengiz Tsertsvadze, General Director of the Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center presented report about “New Covid-19”. Professor talked about the novel infection in details, the clinical manifestations and prophylactic measures.

Association of Medical Education and Evidence-Based Medicine organizes multi-profile medical conference twice a year.
