Fifteen graduates of Tbilisi State Medical University American MD Program have been accepted into residency programs in the United States. The program has produced six cohorts of graduates since its foundation at TSMU. This year marks the first time such an unprecedented number of graduates being accepted at residency programs in the USA.

This achievement represents a significant milestone for TSMU. The university extends its heartfelt congratulations to its graduates and the American MD Program on this remarkable success.

The American MD Program at TSMU was established in 2013 through a collaboration between TSMU and the Emory University School of Medicine (Atlanta, USA). The program was designed in accordance with Georgian and international educational regulations and standards.
