On October 20, 2021 Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by Cris Scotter, the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for Europe HRH Policy Advisor, Colin Pearson, WHO Regional Office for Europe Senior Human Resources Consultant, Rusudan Klimiashvili, WHO Country (Georgia) Coordinator and Akaki Lochoshvili, WHO Georgian Office HRH Policy Advisor. The guests were met by Professor Khatuna Todadze, TSMU Vice Rector, Professor, Sophia Bakhtadze, TSMU Vice Rector, Professor, Gaiane Simonia, Head of the Medical Education, Research and Strategic Development Department, Professor Givi Javashvili, Head on the TSMU Family Medicine Department and Head of the Rector’s Office, Irina Kapetivadze. 

The WHO representatives expressed their interest in the ongoing educational process at the Tbilisi State Medical University, education policy and prospects. They positively evaluated the information received by the medical university representatives and expressed their gratitude for the interesting meeting.
