On January 19, 2018, Annual Conference - "Sociology in Medicine" was held in the Department of Public Health, Management and Policy. In the Conference participated the first semester students of the Faculty of Public Health and the Faculty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of TSMU:  Marekh  Jojua, Nino Kotrikadze, Sandro Makhatadze, Mariam Katsaridze, Mikheil Zangurashvili, Nino Fanchulidze, Sophiko Legashvili, Salome Mamulashvili, Mariam Jincharadze, Giorgi Doghonadze, Otar Chkhikvadze, David Ivanidze , Nunu Voskanian. Thirteen reports on:  nutrition behaviour, family planning, screening programs in the country, disease prevention, immunization, environmental protection, drug abuse, euthanasia and other topical issues were presented at the Conference. At the end of the event, the participants of the conference were awarded the certificates.
