Professor Rima Beriashvili, Head of the Department of Faculty Development and Strategic Planning and Head of the Department of Pathological Anatomy of Tbilisi State Medical University visited the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Academic Staff Mobility Programme.

Professor Rima Beriashvili actively participated in the university’s educational activities and took part in a panel session of the Three Seas Universities Network (3SUN). The panel discussion focused on the importance of shared responsibility in healthcare and explored new opportunities for advancing international cooperation.

Professor Rima Beriashvili delivered a series of lectures covering the following topics:

• Development of a Digital Slide Database of Micromorphological Specimens and Its Application in Pathological Anatomy Education; 

• Tissue Renewal and Regeneration; 

• Tumour Pathology; 

• Pathology of the Liver and Biliary Tract. 

The visit took place from 25 to 29 May 2026 and contributed to strengthening academic collaboration and knowledge exchange between the two institutions.
