In the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics, Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics, TSMU, the elective subject "Principles of Laboratory Genetics and Genomics" was implemented for the second time with the participation of students of the American MD Program.

Course format was in non-distance teaching mode according to the epidemiological regulations. In frames of the project, students performed one of the project objectives using following methods: DNA extraction, DNA quantitative analysis, gel electrophoresis, genotyping and polymorphism analysis using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), allele specific Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), etc.
