On June 19, 2018, the Annual Conference - "Sociology in Medicine" was held at the Department of Public Health, Health Care Management, Policy and Economics of Tbilisi State Medical University. The studies represented at the Conference on the priority issues in healthcare and higher medical education by the first year students: medical care safety, availability of medical services, students’ employment, etc. Participants: Mariam Shotadze, Qetevan Gomarteli, Ana Berishvili, Ana Adamadze, Lida Iashvili, Ana Bendeliani, Keso Gventsadze, Mariam Razmadze, Salome Turdziladze, Mariam Kharaishvili, Tamar Muxadze, Vakhtang Iluridze.
Students’ works were consulted and supervised by the academic staff of the Department. Under the supervision of Lili Lomtadze, Marina Kajrishvili, invited teacher Nino Japaridze, students presented interesting presentations at the Conference.
