All faculties of Tbilisi State Medical University and 15 outstanding student scientific papers were featured in the two-month cycle of student educational-scientific conferences “Present Your Faculty”. The final event was held on June 16 at TSMU, where authors of the best scientific papers were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts.
The most distinguished works identified through the conference series will be published in an international journal, while the compilation of the best abstracts will be printed by a high-impact-factor journal.
Symbolically, the award ceremony was conducted by former leaders of the Ivane Tarkhnishvili Student Scientific Society, who were present at the final conference as honorary guests.
The concluding conference was opened by Professor Irakli Natrosvili, Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University. He emphasized the importance of active student engagement in research and expressed strong support for student-led scientific initiatives. He extended his gratitude to all those who have led, developed, and contributed to the growth of the Ivane Tarkhnishvili Student Scientific Society and the advancement of student scientific life at the university.
The closing event commenced with the screening of a specially prepared film dedicated to this occasion, chronicling the founding, development stages, and activities of the Ivane Tarkhnishvili Student Scientific Society over the years. The film portrays the evolution of student-led scientific conferences at TSMU and the scale they have reached through student organization and participation.
