close and another begins – a path where the knowledge you have gained must be
translated into professional practice. I want to express my gratitude to your
professors and lecturers, who have invested their energy and expertise in you.
Many physicians educated within these walls have achieved international
recognition and still represent our country abroad. One of the primary
objectives of our country is to foster education and development – the
foundation for placing our country among the developed nations of the world.
This is particularly critical in the field of medicine. Your knowledge and
expertise must serve the advancement of Georgia. What you have gained here can
become the basis for strengthening and refining our healthcare system. The
future of our nation rests upon you – you are the architects of Georgia’s
tomorrow. I am confident that you will never forget the Hippocratic Oath.”
