Within the framework of the international campaign Pink October, Tbilisi State Medical University organized a week-long series of events aimed at raising awareness among students and the wider public about the importance of breast cancer prevention and early detection, increasing knowledge of risk factors, and promoting regular self-examination practices.
The initiative was implemented by TSMU’s Office of Student and Alumni Relations and Career Development, in collaboration with the Student Self-Government.

• On October 20, the opening event took place in the TSMU courtyard. Informational brochures were distributed, the university’s fir tree was decorated with pink ribbons, and a themed quiz was held.
• On October 21, students wrote messages of goodwill to oncology patients and placed them in a special box, accompanied by an informational session on breast cancer awareness.
• On October 22, additional awareness-raising activities were organized, and a thematic video clip was recorded.
• On October 23–24, students from various higher education institutions joined the campaign, broadening its scope and impact.
