Pharmacy Faculty Day at Tbilisi State Medical University

The second day of Faculty Week at Tbilisi State Medical University was dedicated to the Faculty of Pharmacy. The initiative aims to familiarize students with various professional pathways, provide practical knowledge, and promote the University’s ongoing educational and scientific activities. Within the framework of Pharmacy Faculty Day, a series of educational and interactive events were held across the University campus, with active participation from students of the Faculty of Pharmacy.

One of the central highlights of the day was an educational lecture “Stress Resilience and the Role of Magnesium in the Human Body”, delivered by TSMU lecturer and international coach Eka Pruidze. The lecture addressed the impact of stress on human health, contemporary approaches to stress management, and the importance of magnesium for the normal functioning of the human body.

In addition, thematic stands were arranged in the University courtyard, where students had the opportunity to explore pharmaceutical products, examine the composition of various preparations using microscopes, and engage with practical aspects of pharmaceutical practice.

Faculty Week at Tbilisi State Medical University commenced on March  9 and is organized by the Student Self-Government. Each day of the week is dedicated to a different faculty, highlighting its academic directions and student involvement.
