Within the framework of World Kidney Day, a screening campaign was conducted at Tbilisi State Medical University. The initiative was organized by the Department of Internal Medicine N2, in collaboration with the Georgian Association of Dialysis, Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation, and the Georgian Youth Health Association.
The campaign provided participants with the opportunity to undergo arterial blood pressure measurement and blood glucose level testing, facilitating the identification of potential risk factors associated with kidney disease.
The primary objective of the initiative was to enhance public awareness regarding the significance of preventive measures and the early detection of kidney diseases, thereby contributing to improved population health outcomes.
