Integrating of united students of Sport and Arts Center in different countries’ cultures and sports

TSMU Georgian and foreign students, both boys and girls, are actively involved in creative groups, ensembles, sports sections and teams of Sport and Arts Center. They often participate in various events and sports competitions planned by TSMU Sport and Art Center and personally by them.

Every summer, the Drama Theater "Higia", the classical music group and the members of national ensemble with the financial support provided by the University's leadership have a great opportunity to present their performances and concerts as TSMU " Theater Hall ", as well as abroad.

For example, the Drama Theater "Higia", after successful performances in Georgia, was invited to participate in the theater festivals in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Sweden and Monaco, where the audience and jury enjoyed great recognition. Student theatres of various institutions of higher education of Georgia, as well as the theaters from Baltic countries, Ukraine, Turkey, Iran and Azerbaijan actively participated in theatrical festivals organized by amateur students' theatrical festival "Mask" ("Mask" is created by the initiative of Theater "Higia"s director Natia Gujabidze). In the future, the joint performances of Georgian and foreign students will be planned.

The classical music group (head Goderzi Chitaishvili) has successful concerts in Tbilisi Iv. Sarajishvili Conservatory and in Music School of Batumi.

Song and dance national ensemble for 34 Years of successful history (Head Badri Matchavariani) by UNESCO Committees has been invited to participate in various world folklore festivals, where the ensemble always succeeds. In countries such as Italy, France, England, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the ensemble was recognized as the best ensemble and the American Radio “Voice of freedom” organized a special report from Prague.

Concerts and performances organized by foreign students have great success among TSMU students, where they present and acquaint culture of their country, folklore and modern songs to Georgian students and also to the students from various countries.

Georgian and foreign students often participate in sports competitions, which are held in TSMU in mini-football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, arm wrestling and in other sports competitions. We have Georgia, Europe and world champions.

Based on the above mentioned, the TSMU student has a great opportunity to be integrated with the cultures and sports life of different countries both in Georgia and abroad.
