On December 11 – 15, 2013 Professors of Internal Medicine Department of Tbilisi State Medical University Gaiane Simonia and Irine Andronikashvili paid an official visit to Paris, France to attend the 1st ICAN CONFERENCE SERIES on Cardiometabolic Diseases organized by the Institute of Cardiometabolism and Nutrition.

Professors Gaiane Simonia and Irine Andronikashvili made the presentation about “Salt-Sensitive Hypertension and Cardiometabolic Syndrome: study in Georgia patients”, which aroused big interest of the audience.

The global experts from the United States and European countries participated in the conference. They discussed current theories about cardiometabolic diseases development.

At the end of the conference international experts presented the interesting cases and discussed them.
