Acting Nurses were Handed the Certificates After Passing Training at TSMU

On 17 July 2014, acting nurses  who passed the 20 days course of  clinical skills were handed the Certificates. This program was developed and implemented by TSMU Center of Clinical Skills. The purpose of the training was to raise the qualifications of the nurses, giving  them opportunity of self –development  and what is most important to reach the level necessary for all the personal working at the clinics.  Awarding ceremony was attended by: Prof. Lia Dzidziguri, Givi Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic, Nana Datiashvili, Director of the Clinic, Organizational field, Prof. Irma Manjavidze Director TSMU Center of Clinical Skills, Medea Jgarkava Coordinator of Professional Educational Programs. The course was considered as of great importance by Lia Dzidziguri , Director of Givi Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic. She expressed her gratefulness to Tbilisi State Medical University leadership  Zurab Orjonikidze, Chancellor, Prof. Kakhaber Chelidze Vice-Rector, Prof. Irma Manjavidze Director of TSMU Center of Clinical Skills, Medea Jgarkava Coordinator of Professional Educational Programs for their work and activities.  According to Lia Dzidziguri any professionals are constantly in need of professional perfection, they are glad that the clinic nurses were given the opportunity to take advantage of this wonderful program and upgrade their knowledge and qualifications free of charge. She emphasized that in initiation and organization of the training course, great role was played  by  Nana Datiashvili Director of the Clinic (organization)  and Prof. Kakhaber Chelidze  Vice – Rector of TSMU. Prof. Irma Manjavidze Director TSMU Center of Clinical Skills announced  that at present the second group of nurses undergo the training at the Center. Today the first group will be awarded the Certificates “Congratulating you on this day we would like to hear your assessment and notes. In the future, we plan to arrange training for more narrow specialization ... for example, personnel of pediatrics, neonatology departments. Step by step we will implement this plan ”. The nurses said that  they gained a really great experience. Their professional skills were assessed before and after training  - result turned out to be too conspicuous. According to Prof. Medea Jgarkava professional educational programs coordinator, Tbilisi State Medical University is ready to take care of the university clinic staff professional improvement. At the end every nurse were awarded 7 Certificates according to the 7 modules they passed.
