International Training Course of EPNS - European Pediatric Neurology Society

On October 9-10, 2014, International Training Course of EPNS - European Pediatric Neurology Society was held on the base of TSMU Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic Department of Pediatric Neurology.

The Lectures were delivered by well-known professors from England, the Netherlands, Belgium, Armenia, Georgia: Richard Newton, Lieven Lege, Colin Kennedy, Andrew Lux, Brigid Volmer, Luis Haratli, Koren Katsman-Berevoits, Biana Sukhujian, Sophie Bakhtadze, nana Geladze, Nana Khachapuridze, Nana Kapanadze, Nana Tatishvili and Sophie Kasradze.

The training course was attended by 60 participants from Norway, Belarus, Turkey, Poland, South Africa, Armenia and Georgia.

On October 8, invited  Professors met with the Rector of Tbilisi State Medical University, Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria and Vice-Rector, Prof. Rima Beriashvili. They said that they are happy to participate in this important project. Modern technologies and connections made the earth so "small" that without close relationship between the scientists throughout the world serious development is impossible.

In addition, the European Pediatric Neurology Society (EPNS) International Training Course Lecturers visited Givi Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic, where they carried out the consultations for the patients with difficult diagnosis. International Training Course provided by EPNS - European Pediatric Neurology Society was very interesting. The audience was greeted by Professor Nana Geladze who opened academic part of the training course. Great attention was paid to children epileptology and particularly resonant and important topics in medicine.

International Training Course of EPNS - European Pediatric Neurology Society was held by invitation of TSMU Pediatric Clinic Department of Pediatric Neurology and the Association of Child Neurology and Behavioral Regulations. At the coffee-break, attendees noted that this course is unrivaled in its meaning and will lay the ground too many good initiate and technologies.
