At Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU), a series of lectures on contemporary approaches in dental implantology was held for students of the Faculty of Stomatology , as well as for students of the International Faculties of Medicine and Stomatology, residents, practicing physicians, and academic staff.
The lectures were delivered by TSMU Invited Professor, Dr. Otar Vadachkoria – Doctor of Dentistry, affiliated with the Medical University of Innsbruck and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, and Head of ZiP-Zahnarzt in Pasing Dental Clinic in Munich.
The sessions, titled “Contemporary Approaches in Dental Implantology. Anatomical Characteristics and Clinical Reasoning. Part I & II,” focused on the anatomical features relevant to dental implantology and modern clinical reasoning in this field. Notably, each topic was complemented by the discussion of real clinical cases, including complications and practical strategies for their management.
The lectures concluded with a dynamic question-and-answer session, allowing participants to engage directly with the speaker and receive comprehensive answers to their questions.
Professor Otar Vadachkoria regularly delivers public lectures at TSMU, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge, modern methodologies, and clinical expertise, while also supporting the professional development of young specialists.
