Emory University School of Medicine (USA, Atlanta) Hosted the Concert by TSMU Folk Song and Dance Ensemble

On March 25, Emory University School of Medicine  Hosted the Concert by TSMU Folk Song and Dance Ensemble.   The TSMU Ensemble  comprising 45-persons arranged the concert for  the Georgian Diaspora in USA,  Representatives of Emory University and the representatives of US Disease Control Center. Despite of bad weather, Reception Hall of Margarette Taylor was overcrowded by attendees. Among the guests were Professor Vikas P. Sukhatme, MD, ScD, Dean of Emory University School of Medicine, Prof. Bill Eley Executive Associate Dean, Professor Dr. Claudia Atkinson, prof. Gordon Churchward - Assistant Dean and others. At the event, Badri Machavariani Director of TSMU Culture Center handed over a memorable gifts to Professor Gordon Churchward for his contribution made to TSMU. The evening was led by Archil Undilashvili, Director of Educational Programs at Emory University School of Medicine. The concert was devoted to Dr. Ken Walker Professor of Emory University, Honorary Doctor of TSMU, honorary citizen of Tbilisi and Georgia (died on February 23, 2018). TSMU Song and Dance Ensemble awarded unforgettable minutes to the community of Emory University School of Medicine.
