Faculty Week at Tbilisi State Medical University came to an end on March 13, when Faculty of Stomatology Day was held. The event featured educational, informative and entertainment activities.

As part of the event, an educational quiz was conducted, where participating students tested their knowledge and received prizes. Workshops in tooth drawing, sculpting and carving were also organized. Particularly engaging were the hands-on session on phantom models and the masterclass on the use of the rubber dam system.

The concluding event of the day was a public lecture on the topic: “The Need for Repeated Endodontic Treatment in Odontology.” The lecture was delivered by MD Lia Sanodze, Director of the A. Urushadze Dental Clinic of TSMU, Associate Professor of the Department of Odontology and a member of the International College of Dentists (ICD) under the Georgian Dental Professional Association.

During the meeting, students received detailed information on practical methods, learned about the mechanisms of treatment effectiveness and were given specific practical advice. At the end of the event, participants were awarded certificates.

Faculty Week at Tbilisi State Medical University was organized by the Student Self-Government. The activities began on March 9, with each day dedicated to a different TSMU faculty.

Participants in the week included bachelor’s programs in Medicine, Stomatology, Pharmacy, Public Health, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Nursing, and Midwifery.
