Tbilisi State Medical University participated in the 2025 Eurasian Universities Summit. Professor Rima Beriashvili, Head of the Department of Pathological Anatomy and Director of the Faculty Development and Strategic Planning Department attended the event as a delegate.

The summit, held on September 24–25 in Baku and organized by Times Higher Education (THE) with support from Azerbaijan’s State Agency for Science and Higher Education and Ministry of Education, brought together over 300 participants, 50 expert speakers, and representatives from more than 150 universities and organizations.

Under the theme “Transnational Research: From Knowledge to Global Impact,” participants discussed transnational education, international research collaboration, and knowledge exchange. Professor Rima Beriashvili highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships between European and Asian universities to foster joint research, knowledge sharing, and expanded opportunities for students.
