From March 7 to March 9, the International winter School-Seminar of the Faculty of Public Health of Tbilisi State Medical University was held. The offsite working meeting was attended by Professor Irakli Natrosvhili, Rector of TSMU, academic staff, invited guests from five universities representing Spain, Germany, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Armenia, as well as students.
During the seminar, discussions were held on the following topics: priorities and methodologies in the scientific field in the 21st century, challenges in public health and the importance of utilizing modern technologies in education and research.
The seminar aims to develop scientific skills and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience in the scientific field.
Within the framework of the event, both international and Georgian students presented excerpts from their research. Students received evaluations and recommendations from academic staff of TSMU and invited guests.
The first meeting of this format taking place in 2006.
