A delegation from the Medical State University of Yerevan visited Tbilisi State Medical University. The guests were hosted by Professor Irakli Natroshvili, Rector of TSMU. The parties discussed educational programs of the universities. A special emphasis was paid to exchange programs for students and academic staff. The participants also discussed the challenges facing contemporary medicine. It was emphasized that, in the context of these challenges, special importance is attached to the development of medical education and to creating appropriate motivation for young people, which will ensure the training of qualified professionals in the future.

The parties expressed their readiness to further deepen the existing cooperation, and a reciprocal visit was also announced.
