On November 1, 2024, Professor Mary Johansson from the Department of Physical Medicine at Emory University's School of Medicine (USA) visited Tbilisi State Medical University.
The American professor delivered a public lecture: "The Specifics of Physical Rehabilitation in the United States" for students, academic staff, and residents of the university. During the session, discussions focused on the crucial role of physical therapy and rehabilitation in enhancing patients' quality of life, including the restoration of function, pain reduction, innovative rehabilitation services, and assistive technologies used in the United States.
