Formatting guidelines for abstracts, posters and scientific articles
1) Abstract formatting guidelines:
The abstract must be submitted in English. Abstracts submitted by conference participants will be uploaded to the electronic collection of abstracts on the website of Tbilisi State Medical University.
Abstract formatting guidelines:
Surname(s) and initials of the author/authors (no more than 5 authors, each conference participant can present only one report, co-authorship in two reports is allowed); Title; Organization/structure where the work was performed; Email of the first author; Keywords (5); Introduction and research objective; Research methodology; Results; Conclusion. The abstract should be no more than 1 page. Format: MS Word. Font - Times New Roman, size - 11, line spacing - 1, text spacing from the top and bottom of the page - 2.5 cm, from the right edge - 1 cm, from the left edge - 3 cm. Bibliography should preferably not exceed 3-4 titles.
*The abstract will be published in the electronic collection of conference materials only upon payment of the conference registration fee.
2) Poster presentation guidelines:
The poster must be presented in English. Poster print dimensions: 120 (height) × 90 (width) cm, portrait orientation. The poster should include: Surname(s), initials of the author/authors; Title; Organization/structure where the work was performed; Email of the first author; Keywords; Introduction and research objective; Research methodology; Results; Conclusion.
3) Article formatting guidelines
If submitted full versions of articles, after editing the article, it is possible to publish it in the scientific journal “Georgian Scientists” (https://journals.4science.ge/index.php/GS), which is indexed in various scientific databases, including Google Scholar (https://journals.4science.ge/index.php/GS/indexed). One issue of the journal will be entirely dedicated to the conference proceedings. Article publishing cost is 100 GEL, for foreign citizens 40 USD. The journal “Georgian Scientists” accepts scientific papers (original scientific articles) for publication. The article should comply with international standards for publications. Articles are accepted in any language: Georgian, English, Russian, etc.; the article should be accompanied by the summary (350 words); keywords (maximum 5). It should not exceed 20 pages (format A4; Microsoft Word; font: Sylfaen, size - 12, line spacing – 1,15); If there are any illustrative pictures, they should be submitted as separate JPG files (resolution - 250-300 dpi) and diagrams should be submitted in an Excel file. Please also indicate the full name(s) and surname(s) of the author(s), regalia, place of work, contact telephone numbers and e-mail(s), preferable an Orcid report of a scientific profile (in Georgian and English). The number of authors of one article submitted for publication in the journal “Georgian Scientists” should not exceed five. The decision on the publication of the submitted material in the journal, after review, will be made by the editorial board. Articles will be checked for plagiarism. In case of plagiarism of more than 25%, the article will be blocked. Authors are required to specify the category for the articles.
