On February 27, 2018 the ceremony dedicated to Kennett (Ken) Walker, Professor of Internal Medicine and Neurology at Emory University (Atlanta, USA), an Honorary Doctor of TSMU, Honorary Citizen of Tbilisi and Georgia, will take place at Tbilisi State Medical University.
The academic and administrative staff and students will gather to remember and respect the merited professor at the ‘Theater Hall’ of the TSMU (Campus Building 3, floor 3) at 20:30; At 22:00 the orthodox memorial service will be held at the church near the TSMU on Vazha-Pshavela Avenue. At 23:00 a march will start from the church to the administrative building, where the professors, students and guests will place flowers and hundreds of candles at the photo of Professor Kenneth Walker.
