On November 15, 2019 Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, TSMU Rector met the first semester students. The aim of the meeting was to share the students’ impressions and opinions about the teaching-learning process at TSMU. Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria noted: “It has passed a long time since you have become the members of our large family. On the one hand, we care about you and on the other hand you have responsibility to look after the university. I want to listen to your impressions about the university, problems you think should be amended. No proposal will stay unnoticed”. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Tinatin Chikovani, Dean of the Medicine Faculty and Prof. Rusudan Rukhadze, Head of the Department of Educational Programs Management and Registration Department of Students. The Rector talked about the opportunities given to the first semester students. They will be able to work in the anatomical theater on corpse materials that they have not had for years, due to legislative restrictions.
The students also listened to the presentations by Nino Kandelaki, ERASMUS+ Coordinator who presented the vast opportunities given to students by deepening their knowledge abroad in various universities and clinics and Alexander Buahchidze, the Deputy Head of Chancellor, who showed the infrastructure projects to the audience.
