Prof. Dr. Thomas Eichhorn, Head of the Department of ENT Diseases, Head and Neck Surgery of Carl-Thiem Hospital Cottbus at the Charite University (Berlin, Germany), Honorary Doctor of Tbilisi State Medical University donated two laparoscopic telescopes developed by OLYMPUS to the TSMU Givi Zhvania Pediatric Academic Clinic. 

Prof. Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of TSMU expressed his special gratitude and highly appreciated the donation and contribution made by Prof. Dr. Thomas Eichhorn to the Tbilisi State Medical University.

It is noteworthy to emphasize that Prof. Dr. Thomas Eichhorn has been collaborating with Tbilisi State Medical University since 2010, during this period of time more than 70 students and residents of TSMU have passed the training courses at the Cottbus Clinic.
