On March 21-24, 2023 Prof. Levan Ratiani Head of the Department of Anesthesiology, Reanimatology and Toxicology of TSMU participated in the symposium “42nd International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine “.

The issues discussed at the symposium were especially interesting for the professor. Contemporary strategies concerning antibiotic prescription in intensive care, COVID-19 treatment, protocol of the management of patients with severe sepsis were discussed at the symposium. 

On March 27-29, 2023 Prof. Levan Ratiani, Assoc. Prof. Luiza Gabunia, Department of Medical Pharmacology, Assoc. Prof. Ketevan Machavariani Department of Anesthesiology, Reanimatology and Toxicology and Assistant Professor Vakhtang Shoshiashvili took part in the 3rd World Congress – “Surgery, Surgeons and Anesthesia” (Zurich, Switzerland). Key issues of pre and post-operative care were discussed at the conference.
