On June 16-17, 2023 conference “The Current Problems of Public Health” was organized by the Faculty of Public Health at Tbilisi State Medical University. The conference was attended by the TSMU students, academic and administrative staff and guests of the university. The conference was chaired by the Assoc. Prof. Marina Tsimakuridze, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health.
The presentations of students concerned the most vulnerable issues in public health, supervised by the field professionals. The students also discussed the COVID-19 pandemic management challenges, involvement of artificial intelligence in the process. Moreover, air, water and environmental pollution and nutrition problems were also discussed.
Salome Zurashvili, a student of the Faculty of Public Health of the University of Debrecen participated in the conference. She presented the outcomes of her ongoing research conducted in the University of Debrecen.
The participants were actively involved in discussion and were awarded with certificates.
