On February 12, 2024 the Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics of Tbilisi State Medical University was visited by the high school students and teachers of Green School Tbilisi. The guests visited the Museum of Life Sciences and participated in a workshop “DNA as a gift” at the Research Center of Human Genome and Epigenome. Assoc. Prof. Eka Kvaratskhelia informed the high school students about the European competition of DNA Day Essay (www.dnaday.eu), where students also participate.

The parties discussed that such activities contribute to motivate and strengthen high school students' interest in science.
